Define a concept and design the graphics for the installations featured at the Italian Pavilion during the Cannes Film Festival.
Three projects with three different stories about the Italian cinema attracted visitors in Cannes during the Film Festival.
Our creative projects were selected to feature at the Italian Pavilion during the Cannes Film Festival in three different editions and each time it was a big success attracting a lot of visitors.
We collaborated with the artistic collective NONE who realized the art installations. The project was coordinated by Luce-Cinecittà, in collaboration with Anica and with the support of the Direzione Generale Cinema, Ministero dello Sviluppo Economico and ICE.
69° Cannes Film Festival
— Universo Elegante
The project was inspired by the String Theory, according to which our Universe is not made up of atoms but of ribbon-like energy strings. The whole Italian Pavilion architecture became a celebration of the motion picture Universe: it pays tribute to it through some of the most famous and elegant icons and scenes belonging to the Italian filmmaking. This concept gives the Pavilion its name: Universo Elegante.
70° Cannes Film Festival
— The brilliant side of us
The brilliant side of us is the name of the art installation featured in the Italian Pavilion during the 70th Cannes Film Festival. An immersive experience in which typical Italian features, such as gestures and expressivity, are told and exalted through the movies protagonists.
71° Cannes Film Festival
“Meraviglia!” (Wonder!) is the title we gave to the art installation featured at the Italian Pavilion during the 71st Cannes Film Festival.
The installation is about the “Wonder” of overcoming the limits imposed by reality, of climbing over real and imaginary walls. To live in past ages and in future worlds. The “Meraviglia” of laughing, crying, loving and dreaming. It is about the Italian cinema and the people that works behind the scenes to make the “Meraviglia” possible.
